For the past five years I have worked in the purchasing department for a prominent pharmaceutical company. As the recession got worse and worse, our direct supervisors ordered us to reduce our costs. After studying and analyzing our purchase and rental costs, I discovered that we were paying a fortune for our orbital weld head. After doing some searching online I was able to find a company that rented this equipment for half the price that we were paying now. This would result in substantial savings. I was very relieved that I was able to cut costs without having to sacrifice our integrity of our production process or run the risk of having to halt manufacturing because of a pipeline breakdown or contamination.
