Affordable Pricing for Renting an Orbital Weld Head

For the past five years I have worked in the purchasing department for a prominent pharmaceutical company. As the recession got worse and worse, our direct supervisors ordered us to reduce our costs. After studying and analyzing our purchase and rental costs, I discovered that we were paying a fortune for our orbital weld head. I knew that I would be able to find another company to rent this integral piece of equipment from for a much more competitive price.

My first priority in finding a new company to rent an orbital weld head from was to make sure that this company would only provide us with top-notch equipment that could be relied upon. During this recession we could not afford any ceases in production as a result of our welding equipment malfunctioning or breaking down. The welding equipment that we used on site was essential to the smooth operation of our plant and to ensure that our pharmaceuticals remained uncontaminated.

We relied upon our orbital weld head in order to initially connect and maintain the piping systems designed to continuously provide us with pure water throughout several stages of processing. Our plant relied upon water running through high-pressure pipe lines that needed to be welded together with superior equipment. We could only afford to rely upon the highest quality welds possible so that there was no risk of bacteria contamination or the chance for rusting of the interior of the tubes thus contaminating our water supply.

Orbital welding was the only welding technique approved to maintain these pipelines because of the fact that full penetration welds were ensured without the risk of overheating and compromising the weld zone. We had learned from previous mistakes that improper welding can damage the weld zone and leave it open for corrosion and bacteria contamination.

I knew that a high quality orbital weld head was essential to the day to day functioning of our plant but I also knew that we could find much more competitive pricing. After doing some searching online I was able to find a company that rented this equipment for half the price that we were paying now. This would result in substantial savings. I was very relieved that I was able to cut costs without having to sacrifice our integrity of our production process or run the risk of having to halt manufacturing because of a pipeline breakdown or contamination.
