Gas System Design & Configuration

CSI’s service and support for our customer start well before a gas system is chosen.

Gas system selection, manufacture and layout is rarely straightforward process. One of the biggest considerations is safety and code requirements.   Adherence to code involves knowledge of the gases, pressure, properties, and other factors to assure that the selected systems will meet local and national standards, such as the UFC (Uniform Fire Code) and CGA G13 Gas code.

If customer requirements are unique or complex, the process can also involve a number of iterations to create a system that will perform properly.

In many instances, there are multiple ways that a gas system can be configured that will have a significant impact on efficiency, system cost, maintenance, and safety. At CSI, all of our customers’ systems are developed with these factors in mind. Hundreds of design configurations and years of experience has given us the knowledge to assemble the proper systems for virtually any set of gases used in high purity applications.
