For the last 27 years, Critical Systems has been providing and servicing orbital welding equipment and supplies. As the Boise Shop Lead, I would like to take the opportunity to tell you about the products and services that CSI offers:
Orbital Fusion Weld Heads
At Critical Systems we specialize in AMI orbital weld heads. We lease and service heads ranging from the 9-250 to the 9-7500 and all models in between. This allows for orbital welding tube size 1/8” all the way to 6”. We also carry the popular 8-2000 and 8-4000 for those tight spots.
Weld head extensions and adapters
CSI keeps 50’ wet and dry cable extensions in inventory, and we also carry both the 15’ adapters and the 1’ cheater adapters. Our cabling features our zippertube sheathing for easy cleaning and clean room operations.
Orbital Welding Power Supplies
Critical systems maintains a fleet of AMI M207 & M217 power supplies. We service and repair AMI 207s, 217s, 205s and 227s. Recently we have expanded our rental fleet with the addition of the CSI branded IPS200 Orbital Welding Power Supply. This machine can deliver 200amp welds consistently and with remarkable stability.
Coolers
Critical systems developed a more powerful stand alone cooling unit that uses a separate power connection and does not draw power from the power supply. We also have AMI chillers in the rental fleet.
Pendants, Extensions and Adapters
We offer both the standard AMI M207 pendant and CSIs own CSI Mini Pendant. Both can function on the M207 and the M217 with the use of the CSI Red Bullet Adapter. We also provide 50’ extensions that can be used for both pendant types.
Facing and Cutting Tools
CSI provides and repairs both battery operated and corded Tri-Tool facing and severing tools. Our inventory ranges from the 300 MF micro facer to the Tri Tool 306 and every model in between. For cutting we stock both the Severmaster 572 and 576, and the Axxair 172 tube saw.
Consumables
CSI provides a full catalogue of accessories for your welding, facing and cutting needs. We stock almost every size of collet imaginable, facing saddles for Tri Tool facing tools, welding tungsten, facing bits, severing bits and saw blades.
Service and Repair
With over 50 years of combined service experience maintaining our own rental fleet, we know that our fleet needs to be on the job site not the repair bench. We repair items right the first time and we offer a 1 year warranty on our repairs. We stand behind our service.
